Loli studied Ceramic Design at Central St Martin’s as a mature student graduating in the year 2000. After graduation she received a Seedbed award from Cockpit Arts and a Licentiate of Merit award from the Society of Designer Craftsmen. She works in her central London studio creating minimal but expressive studio ceramic pieces, mostly executed in porcelain with a sparing but striking use of colour.
Since setting up her studio in September 2000 Loli has taken part in numerous exhibitions both as a ceramic artist and as curator.
Loli is a member of London Potters and a founder member of SAL (Spanish Artists in London)

“Painting and traditional pottery are the main points of departure for inspiration when designing my work, especially still-life compositions, which I find particularly compelling due to the quiet contemplation they suggest. My main artistic objective is to give physical presence to an abstract idea while creating an intrinsically appealing object”
